PCB has come down hard on Pakistan senior players as they handed them the most serious punishment in the recent history of Pakistan cricket. An Inquiry committee was formed to find out the reasons of the disappointing tour of Australia and according to committee recommendations PCB have accounted the fines and bans for the most senior players in the team.
Pakistan and world's top batsmen Mohammad Yousuf and Yousuf Khan have been banned for all type of international cricket and they will not play for Pakistan again, however they can play county and domestic cricket. According to PCB statement their infighting affects the whole team badly so both players will not be able to play for their country again.
Shoaib Malik and Rana Naveed will have to face one-year ban and 2 million fines. Both cannot play international cricket for a year but can take part in domestic tournaments. Indiscipline actions have not been mentioned by the PCB for these two players but Pakcricketworld understands that Shoaib Malik is banned for grouping in the team but PCB doesn't said anything about it.
PCB has slapped rupees 3 million on Shahid
PCB have come hard on Pakistan most seniour players, Yousuf and Younis exed from all type of cricket
Afridi for his ball-tempering offence, Shahid Afridi had already been punished by the ICC for 2 Twenty20 matches. Shahid Afridi will also have to face 6 month probation
Kamran Akmal also has to pay 3 million rupees fine to PCB while his younger brother Umar has to pay 2 million fines for their misbehaviors after the Sydney Test in Australia tour. These brothers are also on probation for 6 months with Shahid Afridi.
No doubt PCB has take this action for the better future of Pakistan cricket but it is tougher to keep standing on this decision, even though it's a hard decision but it was needed to set an example for the future.
