No Shoaib and Sohail in T20 squad | ICC World Twenty20, 2010

Pakistan cricket board has announced the 30 men squad for the Twenty20 world cup in West Indies. Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar and T20 start player Sohail Tanveer are out of the squad for the defense of Twenty20 title.

Three players from the under-19 world cup team Hammad Azam, Babar Azam and Raza Hassan are also included in the squad courtesy of some superb performance in under-19 world cup.

Shoaib Akhtar has not played any international game since the series against Australia in UAE last May. Ijaz Butt told AP that Shoaib Akhtar has not played any cricket for a long time now, he had said last week that he was still confident of making an international comeback. He will lead Islamabad Leopards in the upcoming RBS Twenty20 Cup.

Sohail Tanveer is surfing from a injury and nobody knows when he will gonna fit for international cricket. Three wicket keepers: Kamran Akmal , Sarfraz Ahmad and Zulqurnain Haidar have been included in 30 men squad. Kamran Akmal really has to fight hard to get his permanent place back in the team.

PCB also announced the 30 names for the Women’s Twenty20 championship which will take place parallel to the men's tournament in the West Indies.
