Australia is on its way to kill Pakistan completely in ODIs as well. Australia destroyed Pakistan yet again in the 4th ODI at Perth beating them by 135 runs, Pakistan again failed to chase or even get closer to the target. This is Australia’s 1st win over Pakistani in ODI at Perth.
Pakistan again played poorly in all departments of the game, after getting on top of the Australians they again let them make too many runs in last 10 overs and batting as throughout this tour, failed to pull any kind of results in their favor as wickets were falling just like that the batsmen are not here to win, but for their place in team.
Target of 278 most likely was never on for the Pakistanis to chase but they just didn’t put any kind of effort in to the game, resulting another loss which takes them on the edge of a white wash in the ODIs as well.
Ryan Harris again destroyed the Pakistan batting line up and gets his 2 consecutive players of the match award. He got Salman Butt (0) in the 1st over of the match who follows a familiar batting claps, Younis Khan (6) again failed to use his experience and talent and got out caught behind on a beautiful out swinger from Harris who was pumped-up on that time.
Kamran Akmal (17) when he was looking good played a bad shot edging to the Keeper Haddin, and gave Siddle his 1st wicket, 2 balls later Mohammad Yousuf got out in same pattern but on the leg side, Ball just brushed his gloves on its way to Haddin.
4 for 39 was the last thing Pakistan needed on that time, Fawad Alam and Umar Akmal again was the last hopes for Pakistan considering Afridi just a handy cap but Fawad also fell when the score was 99 which brings the BOOM BOOM on the crease, Umar Akmal (38) the top scorer was unlucky by the way he got out, he just tapped the ball right down to his foot which rolls back and hit the stumps. Shahid Afridi played a little cameo of 29 of just 10 balls but the joy didn’t last for long as he was caught by Nathan Hauritz on a delivery which was never meant to be hit but Afridi plays it and got the top edge.
Nothing was expected from the rest of the batting line
Pakistan v Australia, 4th ODI, Perth
Ryan Harris completely destroyed the Pakistan batting in the 4th ODI as well.
Australia 8 for 277(Hussey 67, Hauritz 53*, Asif 3-42) beat Pakistan 142 (Umar Akmal 38, Harris 5-19) by 135 runs
as Pakistan closed their disappointing innings on 142 in just 37.5 overs. Another nothing performance from Pakistani in the 4th ODI as well and it is getting darker and darker for Pakistan to come out of this situation.
Earlier Australia score 277 in their 50 overs, Pakistan was on the top at one stage when they got first 4 wickets on just 110, even better was at 6 for 190 but Micheal Hussey (67) played a superb knock with great support of Nathan Hauritz who makes unbeaten half-century 53*.
Now Australia’s aim will be to complete the ODI clean sweep as well and for Pakistan well there is nothing to say too much about them but just to win the match.
