Australia grabs the series 3-0 by beating Pakistan in the 3rd match with the help of some outstanding fast bowling from Ryan Harris who bowls superbly under pressure in the last batting power play and got the wicket of dangerous looking Shahid Afridi and Rana Naveed. Half-centuries from Shaun Marsh (83) and Michael Clarke (80) leads the way of Australia in the batting which was followed by Michael Hussey at the end.

Ryan Harris effort was really great to watch, he bowls some great Yorkers at the end when Shahid Afridi and Rana Naveed was looking to take Australia on but he get rid of both of them which was enough for Australia to take the series. Last batting power play was full of thriller and some hitting as well where Pakistani scores 37 from the 1st three overs but Ryan Harris bowling spell takes every hope away from Pakistan.

Kamran Akmal was the 1st man to go, lbw for 1 of a bowl who wasn’t hit him in the line. Next man was inform Salman Butt who became the victim of a ridiculous decision by Asoka de Silva who gave him lbw on a bowl who was clearly going over the stumps and pitched way out side the leg stumps.

That was the time when things started to get darker for Pakistanis, drama followed with the wicket of Mohammad Yousuf bowled by Shane Watson and after 2 runs Younis was also on his way to the pavilion. 4 for 60 were the score when the command came into the youngster’s hand.

Umar Akmal (59) again showed his quality and determination by scoring a fighting half-century which was fully supported by another youngster Fawad Alam who score 33 of 
52 balls certainly save Pakistani from complete destruction.

Partnership of 85 runs came to end when Umar got out, this was a crucial wicket of the Aussies who bring the Every Thing Possible Shahid Afridi to the crease, sooner

Fawad also got out when he needed to finish the innings.

Shahid Afridi like always brings hustle and bustle into the Australian outfit when he takes the batting power play in the 41st over. Afridi started the power play in style hitting Watson all over the park, Rana Naveed also chipped in at that time. Shahid Afridi scores a quick fire 40 but his show came to an end simply because of some great death bowling by Ryan Harris who bowled him with a superb Yorker. Umar Gull also got out helping the winning cause followed by Rana Naveed who became the 5th wicket of Ryan Harris.

Asif was the last man to go, caught by Haddin on the bowling of Nathan Hauritz. There was 2 times when Pakistanis came back into match but it’s the Australian dominance who kept them away from their 1st win on the Australian tour.

Australian innings was supported by Marsh, Clarke and Hussey in the end. Shane Watson and Shaun Marsh gave Australia a strong opening stand. Watson was the 1st wicket to fell that day bowled by Asif. Ricky Ponting got a three balls (0) duck. Next man Michael Clarke put a great partnership with Shaun Marsh of 85 steady the innings of Australia but Marsh missed out on a hundred stumped by Kamran Akmal on 83 

Last 10 overs proved costly for Pakistan, conceding 95 runs with the help of sloppy work from the Pakistanis in all departments. Umar Gull looked ugly in his bowling at the death which includes consecutive 3 no balls helped Australia to made a superb finish to their innings. Clarke (80) and quick fire 49 from Hussey takes Australia’s score to 288 in their 50.0 overs.

This match can be highlighted with some poor umpiring from Asoka de Silva and some irresponsible batting from the Pakistan and of course a superb bowling performance from Ryan Harris who gave Australia the series 3-0.
