Hammad Azam the batting sensation for Pakistani in the tournament played a superb knock of 92 notout to take Pakistani through to the Under-19 World Cup beating West Indies in the semi-final by 4 wickets. Chasing 212 West Indies was the favorite more times than Pakistan, with the important contribution of Mohammad Waqas and Rameez Aziz, Hammad fought hard to steal victory with 4 wickets and 9 balls remaining.
