Pakistan will have a new captain after the end of Australian tour. PCB chairman Ijaz Butt said that Yousuf was appointed for the New Zealand and Australia series.
"This captain [Mohammad Yousuf] was for this series only and we will decide after the tour of Australia about the captain, [but] we will change," He told this to the private ARY News channel.
Younis quits captaincy after the ODI loss to New Zealand claiming that he has lost command on the side. Since then Yousuf is captaining the Pakistan side but failed to produce any kind of improvement. Ijaz Butt said "We did not change Younis. Unfortunately the sports committee of the parliament made him run away after they leveled match-fixing allegations against him."
Pakistan will play their next test series in England which have been shifted their from Pakistan due to security reasons. A new captain will be a challenge for the PCB.
